Problem Description:

During the last fiber maintenance by the fiber provider our attenuation rose unexpectedly. The provider would like to replace two patches to rectify the situation. This will cause a short outage of about 15 minutes for the Jungfraujoch station.

If Monday 08:30 is not a good time, please let us know until Wednesday, we have some flexibility in planning this intervention with the provider.

The provider replaced their patch cables and found that one was a bit old and bad. We regained 1 and 1.5 dB of optical signal in the two directions. Maintenance concluded successfully. Closing Ticket.
