Problem Description:
Since last Saturday morning, we have observed input errors (CRC failures) on our router swiBUL2, interface TenGigE0/0/1/0. This is the IP access link of Glion (Bulle campus). The error rate is around 0.5% for packets received by SWITCHlan from Glion.Affected:

Connectivity is still present, but due to the high error rate, upload rates from the campus will be lower than normal, especially to far-away destinations.

SWITCHlan engineer on site at 15:25.
Our 10G-XFP-LR seems to have been ok, since still CRC drops after replacement.
Faulty transceiver has been replaced on customer end and no more CRC errors detected.
All services restored.

A SWITCHlan engineer has been dispatched to Bulle with replacement transceivers and cables. They will arrive on site around 15:30. Expect one or several short IP access interruptions as replacements are deployed.

Offered to send the customer a new 10G-XFP-LR transceiver to replace the one in our router's access interface.
